In an ever increasing number of projects all around the world, the use of LDX 2101 is now beginning to gather speed.
Bridges, barges, tanks, floodgates, trailer beds and bark silos for the paper industry are just a few examples of applications where the new stainless steel is already used and where it will be used in the future. |

To get the most out of the steel as regards properties and cost, Outokumpu Stainless recommend the use of matching fillers when welding LDX 2101. Covered electrodes, FCW and solid wire (MIG, TIG and SAW) of various dimensions are now available from stock. Procedures for various welding methods using matching LDX 2101 filler metals have been drawn up. ”Guidelines – How to weld Outokumpu LDX 2101®” are also available.
