During the week of September 14-19, the 17th Internationel welding fair Schweissen & Schneiden, was held in Essen, Germany. It was visited by a record number of people: more than 60,000 from almost every part of the world,
Corporate exhibition stand

This year, Avesta Welding and Avesta Finishing Chemicals exhibited for the first time in the corporate Böhler Welding Group stand, together with Böhler, T-Put, UTP, Soudokay and Fontargen .
With 1530 m2 ground floor area, the Böhler Welding Group stand was the biggest one of this year and it was also the first one ever to be three stories high.

The spectacular stand was designed as an offshore platform, built up of 28 ocean containers and a "Bell 206 Ranger" helicopter to top it all!
Product news and welding demonstrations always attract great interest and this year's Essen fair was no exception. People crowded around the demo booth and a lot of interesting contacts were made. |
