The new welder-friendly 3D version of 2507/P100 is now ready. Compared with other electrodes for welding super duplex steels, Avesta Welding’s new 3D electrode
is clearly the best product on the market.
Avesta 2507/P100-3D’s characteristics include the following properties:
• Self-releasing slag – any residual slag on the surface is extremely small.
• Very stable arc (without pulsing).
• Smooth, finely rippled weld surface.
• Minimal welding spatter.
• Excellent weld profile. |
Desalination plants are a typical application area for Avesta 2507/P100.

Avesta 2507/P100-3D is part of our standard range. It is supplied with a 3.1 certificate and is available in 2.50, 3.25 and 4.00 mm diameters.
The new electrode is particularly suitable where impact strength requirements are moderate, e.g. in the chemical, desalination and pulp and paper industries. Impact strength: > 32 J.
For applications with more severe impact strength requirements or lower design temperatures, we recommend Avesta 2507/P100 rutile.
